Getting Started
Get started with PearPass, your secure password manager. Follow these four steps to go from a fresh install to storing your first item.
Steps
1. Installation
Download and install PearPass on your device — available on Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux), Mobile (iOS, Android), and as a Browser Extension. Each platform has its own installer and setup flow.
2. Master Password Setup
Create a master password that unlocks all your vaults. PearPass never stores your password, so choose something strong and memorable — you'll use your master password every time you sign in. Not sure how to pick one? See How To Create A Strong Password.
3. Creating Your First Vault
Create a vault to hold your passwords, login credentials, and secure notes. Vaults keep your data organized and encrypted — you need at least one before you can start saving items.
4. Adding Your First Item
Add your first item to your vault — a login, password, or secure note. Select the item type, fill in the details, and save. This confirms your vault is working and ready to use.
